There are reply guys and then there are reply boyfriends. At this point it’s safe to say that billionaire Tesla dude Elon Musk, who is dating and just had a baby with Grimes, is at the very least the latter. It may sound cute, but trust me: You do not want to be this guy. Let me explain.
On Monday, Grimes had a baby boy, X Æ A-12 Musk (although the name might not stick, as it is not legally permissible). Almost immediately, Elon started tweeting about it. Initially this was fine: He revealed the baby’s sex, as well as his inscrutable name, and assured fans that mother and baby were both doing well. Then Grimes tweeted a confusing explanation2019理论片最新免费大全 of the aforementioned name, and Elon replied … and that’s when everything went downhill.
Elon began by rudely correcting Grimes’s spelling of a precursor to the couple’s “favorite aircraft.” After she reminded him that she had just given birth, he tried to backpedal by calling the mother of his child a powerful fairy queen. Then Grimes was like “haha” and sent some heart emoji Elon’s way. Not great.
2019理论片最新免费大全It’s not the first time that Elon has been overeager to interact with his girlfriend online, to his detriment. Here he is last week announcing that his girlfriend is mad at him, presumably because he is selling almost all of his physical possessions. It certainly appears as if Elon is announced he’s selling all his possessions to get his girlfriend to interact with him on Twitter, and that’s not a good look.
In my opinion, if you and your significant other are both very online, it’s fine to mute one another or just not pay too much attention to the other’s feed. I speak from experience, as I ignore my boyfriend’s tweets about me quite often; in fact, I’m doing that right now. Instead, I let him know IRL that I appreciate him and value his insights. When we do argue, it’s in private and nearly always about how to pronounce “Elon” (he says “Eeeelon,” I say “Ellen”). I know in my heart that he is wrong and that’s what truly matters.
